Hey
everybody! Here we go again. It’s another Tuesday, which means it’s time for
our new post. This time we have visited the oldest pub in Belgrade, called “The
three carrots’’(established in 1996). So let’s cut the bullshit and get down to
business!
The three
carrots

Saturday afternoon, shity was the weather so was the mood, all in all one horrible day. Where to go, what to do…well let’s go for a beer. This time choice was ‘’The three carrots’’ which is said to be a good pub so we were curious to find out if the rumors were true. The pub is located at Kneza Milosa street number 16. As soon as we walked in,the interior left a good impression on us. An authentic Irish pub. Very spacious object with two levels. The entire lower level is made out of wood. On your right side there is a big wooden bar and right next to it there are twisted stairs that lead to an upper level. On your left side there are ,also wooden made booths. The upper level is pretty spacious also, crowded with tables. All in all very spacious object, pretty tied up and flawless.

Also it should be mentioned that there is no pool table or darts, unlike the previous pub that we have visited. Even though you can watch a game of some sort because there is a big TV. We did, for example, have fun watching derby between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid. All that could be accompanied with a good music (rock, Irish rock).
That would be all about the interior and the atmosphere. Now let us tell you something about the range of beers and prices. Well we didn’t like the prices at all. They made our bad mood to be even worse. As far as the beer range is concerned you can have: Guinness, Erdinger, Budweiser, Tuborg, Carlsberg, and domestic Lion(srb: Lav) lager or dark. We were yamming in the previous post that there wasn’t Guinness in that pub, in this though there was. But the price is 575 rsd or 4.75 eur. Our reaction to that was: ‘’Holly mother of God’’! Also we should mention that you can have a beer cocktails which were and still are unknown and awkward to us. We haven’t tried them but we believe that they are good. There are also other cocktails and all sorts of coffees but as we said we don’t give a flying fuck about them. So the prices are bit to high for our pocket for yours maybe they aren’t. You know the best your financial situation.
From time to time the pub organizes gigs and when there is some big sport event there is a nice atmosphere.
To summarize, our impression is quite good bit spoiled by the prices, but if you want to have a drink in this kind of pub you should be ready to pay a higher price. The upsides of this pub are the interior and atmosphere. The beer range is quite ok. Downsides would be the prices(also the biggest), nothing to amuse(pool, darts etc…) and no food. On our scale from 1 to 5 this pub scores an average of 3.5. That would be it. We hope that we evoke you our impression as vivid as possible. So, if you found it to be ok from what we just wrote then you should go and visit it. Stay tuned and take care! Cheers! Written by:The king of Clovers Translated by:The king of Spades
